Daphy Michel was a human being who happened to be born on the other side of a border. That did not mean she was any less worthy of care, safety, and dignity.
Her death was preventable. We must abolish ICE.

- Today, I asked the NLRB Chairman if he’d oppose a White House liaison at the agency. He affirmed his belief that the NLRB is an independent agency and said he’d have no option to oppose White House interference “other than to resign. The NLRB must remain an independent agency.

- When @RepDeluzio and I conducted oversight at Moshannon Valley Detention Center, a woman told me she was sexually assaulted. Another had no idea the status of her pregnancy because she’d been denied medical care. That is the reality of detainees. Moshannon must be shut down.
