Occupations can become gender segregated over quite short periods of time. In 1980, about half of psychologists were men. Now it's 1 in 4. Among those under 30, it's 5%. h/t @SteveStuWill
Among parents:
- Moms spend about 50% more time than Dads on both childcare and housework.
- Dads spend about 50% more time than Moms on paid work.
- The total hours worked are almost identical.

The gender gap in college attendance is much, much bigger for those from middle-class and poorer families.
I think this is one reason it is harder for those in elite circles to see the problem.

I'm banging the drum to get more male teachers in our classrooms. Just 3% of early years educators and 11% of elementary teachers are men, & the male share in K-12 s falling.
In part this is because I am inspired by (and burstingly proud of) the work of my middle son, Bryce. . .

The gender pay gap has reversed sharply among young workers (16-24) in the UK. Good news that women's pay is going up. Bad news that men's pay is stagnating.

46% of Democrat men under 50 think feminism has "done more harm than good", compared to 4% of those over 50. Anybody who doesn't see this as a potential political problem is simply not paying attention
