- It is with a heavy heart that we today bear the loss of former manager Dave Ponch Rausch. He is the only Royal in the Minnesota Baseball HOF and he was instrumental in the progress of Richmond baseball. He was also a beloved member of the community and an excellent person.
- Words are tough to come up with right now. Amateur Baseball scorekeeper, ambassador, and legend Art Schlangen has passed away. His impact on Amateur Baseball especially within Stearns County Baseball is and will be forever reaching. He will be missed.
- Still in shock but Art was one of the best guys around. Could talk baseball for hours. Studied the rule book at night, did scorebook in his free time, coached, and there wasn’t a Premium he turned down. We’ll miss you Art.
- Royals win 18-8 in 8 innings off a walkoff HR from Logan Aleshire. Brady Blattner collects his first as a Royal. Catches were made, balls were hit, fun was had.
- Good morning baseball fans! Regions is here and we open up play tonight against the @CS_Rockies at 8:00pm. This may be the first time we have played our ROCORI based, HWY 23 rivals in a postseason game in our history. (Correct me if that’s wrong) Should be electric!

- Royals punch their ticket into the 2018 State Tournament beating St.Martin 6-3 today! @EliEmerson19 goes 9 innings giving up 0 ER. Royals will play the winner of ElRosa and Lake Henry at 8:00pm on Friday night. ROYALS ARE STATE BOUND!!!
- Royals win 7-2 over Watkins tonight. Luke Jokela goes 9 innings giving up 2 ER in the first and that’s it. Offense pounded out 16 hits lead by Cole Schmitz who was 3-5 with 2 2B’s and 2 RBI. Chase Aleshire was also 3-5. We play Sunday at 11am!
