The club has been through a lot in the last 12 months, a small group of people have done everything in their power to keep the doors open and put a team on the field. It has not been easy for them. No need to kick them while they are down with comments like that.

Officially six months at the #Newark Advertiser, 600 stories completed and although its been frantic at times I have really enjoyed getting out in the local community, taking photos and writing #sport. Thanks to everybody who has been so supportive, I really appreciate it.

You need a serious discussion about the treatment of referees because most of the new ones don't last 2 years due to the crap they cop then you get sub standard referees bought in off facebook etc, or fees go up for them due to increased travel etc. Treat them right, probs will <

Grassroots football is incredibly addictive to watch, I recommend attending a few of your resident team matches as you will probably get hooked on the passion, the highs and the lows. + it pumps money back into the local economy & helps fuel local football. #football #nonleague
