Coming next year, meet Sycamore Bell. He's not the world's greatest detective. But he does answer the world's greatest detective's letters.

The public had a right to know the truth straight away. I am seriously concerned that facts may have been withheld from the public. Keir Starmer must urgently explain what he knew about the Southport attack and when he learned it.

If Louise Haigh wanted a new phone, she should simply have peddled a get-rich-quick scheme under a false name.

🚨NEWS ALERT gone missing? Whenever a Conservative minister resigned there was always a BBC news alert. Yet Starmer loses his first Cabinet Minister and somehow the BBC doesn't think it's relevant enough to send out an alert!

The BBC News app sent out a news alert around 7am stating that Louise Haigh resigned. bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…

I can't believe we're all playing along with the idea that, even if he had the questions in advance, Boris would bother to prepare any answers.

If there was one thing that English football was known for in the 80s, it was the good-natured, fun-loving quality of the supporters.

Something has fundamentally changed in Birmingham. And Britain, too, has changed with it. Consider football: the rough and tumble of our national game is nothing new for the West Midlands. Growing up in the eighties, my Dad took me to more than a few matches at Villa Park in the

It is astonishing that Labour councillor Ricky Jones, who was caught on video calling for throats to be slit, is let off scot free - whereas Lucy Connolly got 31 months prison for posting something no worse. The development of two tier justice is becoming increasingly alarming.

Yep, if there's one way I would describe Johnson being dragged out of Downing Street yelling "You'll want me back! You've never had better! You total bastards!", it's "general lack of bitterness".

OUTSTANDING work from Chris Philp this morning telling Laura Kuenssberg that he had "done my bit towards cleaning up British politics" by resigning from Boris Johnson's government in 2022. The mystery of how Johnson got there in the first place persists...

BRILLIANT strategy here to keep lockdown breaches in the news. Can't see any way that reminding voters of lockdown, and high-profile breakers of lockdown, could backfire on the party and imposed lockdown then partied through it.
