My Rocco died suddenly yesterday. He blessed me with a lifetime of loyalty & limitless joy. I don’t speak about my private world normally. But wanted to share my profound sadness with anybody who has ever loved a dog. It is the deepest gift of unconditional love imaginable. 💔

My Grandma Lottie was born 97 years ago, working fearlessly through the bombs of the Blitz She died this morning without a day of complaint or bitterness Her generation defeated tyranny, safeguarding freedom for us all We must never forget their sacrifice! #RemembranceDay2021

Packed train from London to Plymouth due to storm disruption. Elderly people made to stand in the isles for the 4 hour journey. I’m FAR from perfect but gave up my seat whilst other young & able passengers sit in total indifference. It’s sad & disappointing. Thank you mum for

On the holiest day of the year we are attacked at a Manchester synagogue. Our children walk to school behind barbed wire protected by guns. Yet some still answer this atrocity with “what about…” This is my country, the sanctuary my grandfather found after surviving the

This man didn’t think he was special. He told me he was from Romania but didn’t want any praise: ‘it’s just my job.’ His Job? Primrose Hill this morning cleaning up a sea of debris. Leaving your rubbish for others to pick up is halitosis of the human soul.

When every opponent is called a Nazi, history is cheapened, debate is destroyed, and lives are put at risk. Abusing the word Nazi doesn’t only insult history, it poisons politics, fuels hatred, and costs lives. @GMB

I’ve just had my phone grabbed out my hands by 3 boys wearing balaclavas on bikes (Finchley Road & Canfield gardens). They laughed as I shouted to drop it. Im in shock but am insured & privileged. Others are less lucky. Help me find these people & stop them (financial reward).

At Glastonbury yesterday, a band called for “inshallah, from the river to the sea.” The crowd cheered. When I hear that phrase chanted with joy, I feel fear and - whoever you are - so should you. Most people don’t understand what it means. But it’s been used for decades by

“Art is to console those who are broken by life” Van Gough. This isn’t activism. Its an attack on every person, especially the least privileged amongst us, who can enter a shared space (free of charge), look upon those Sunflowers & dare to dream. I wish I was sentencing them.

Activists with @JustStop_Oil have thrown tomato soup on Van Gogh’s Sunflowers at the national Gallery and glued themselves to the wall.

The action was dramatic but the picture was unscathed and is already back on display. The frame was damaged slightly, according to The National Gallery. Adding as context because people might believe the protesters damaged the painting. twitter.com/nationalgaller…
