    This is CPT Luis Avila. In 2011, he suffered severe injuries from a mounted IED and was in a coma for 40 days. I met CPT Avila at Walter Reed during his recovery. I told him that when he was ready, I would cook him a steak and lobster dinner. This week, he was ready.
