Yesterday, officers observed a young teenager carrying what appeared to be a firearm. After a brief foot pursuit, the weapon was determined to be a realistic-looking BB gun. This situation could have ended differently. Thankfully, no one was injured.

This morning, Officer Allen responded to a 911 call for a young child found walking alone on Bernard Street. As they worked to locate the child's home, Officer Allen offered a hand and a calm presence. The child found comfort in Officer Allen’s kindness during this situation.
