- We are aware of phone scams circulating throughout our community. Scammers may claim to be law enforcement officers, government officials, or other trusted organizations in an attempt to convince you to send money or provide personal information.
- Traffic Advisory: East Avenue from Union Street to Alexander Street will be closed today for the FIFA World Cup outdoor viewing party. Motorists are advised to use alternate routes and expect delays in the area.
- Yesterday, officers observed a young teenager carrying what appeared to be a firearm. After a brief foot pursuit, the weapon was determined to be a realistic-looking BB gun. This situation could have ended differently. Thankfully, no one was injured.

- This morning, Officer Allen responded to a 911 call for a young child found walking alone on Bernard Street. As they worked to locate the child's home, Officer Allen offered a hand and a calm presence. The child found comfort in Officer Allen’s kindness during this situation.
- Traffic Alert: While the Fire Department continues to work on Lyell Avenue, a portion of the roadway is closed between Glide Street and Avery Street. Please avoid the area if possible.
- The 40th Anniversary Law Enforcement Torch Run took to the streets of Spencerport this morning. Law enforcement officers from across Monroe County joined forces as “Guardians of the Flame,” carrying the Flame of Hope and raising awareness and funds for @SpecOlympicsNY athletes.
- Great work by our officers taking three more illegally possessed firearms off our streets.
- Per-mile, Lake Avenue is one of the most dangerous roads in New York; that's why our Traffic Unit was out last night and will continue to conduct specialized enforcement details focused on reducing speeding and improving safety.
