    Active petition to save it, Grade II listed, up in flames on the wettest day of the year, 6 fire engines had to attend. Just days after buying it from Marson's, can the "private buyer" or group remain a mystery?

    On 3rd August, Marson's stated: "We're delighted to confirm the sale of the Crooked House has now completed. At this stage we're unable to disclose the details of the buyer or price."

    London pub illegally demolished by developers for luxury flats really HAS been rebuilt brick by brick. I confess to having been sceptical as this really happens, but what a FANTASTIC disincentive to others!!!

    It's too late to sign this petition to save the iconic & beloved Black Country "wonkiest pub" from demolition. Grade II listed. Sold by Marston's late July. It "caught fire" in a spectacular blaze last night. THE DEVELOPERS MUST NOT BE ALLOWED TO BENEFIT.

    I've been hearing examples of customers becoming frustrated at the new restrictions in pubs, getting annoyed with bar staff, even becoming abusive. Please remember it's not the staff's fault. It's hard. Applaud them. The least we can do is be kind!!!

    The vast majority of pubs didn't abuse the system, data shows they didn't spread the virus, operated safely when open. Street drinking allowed by a few, now illegal. Govt, if you truly understand the historic community value of pubs, allow takeaway alcohol sales/sealed containers

    .@dailytelegraph headline for tomorrow: "Pubs may open in April (with no alcohol)" Being discussed as part of Govt's roadmap for lifting lockdown. What next, cinemas with no films? Restaurants with no meals? The anti-alcohol lobby are having a field day.
