I have shifted my view on AI safety from "humans should always remain in control" to "humans should give up control as soon as is safe and practical" We should aim to build an orderly machine civilization with better institutions than humanity has and much stronger property

This is insane. Canada imported 36.5% of it's population in the last 10 years. And that's just what they tracked. They didn't provide the numbers for those who entered illegally because they have no idea. To put this in perspective, 5% would be huge. 10% would be a crisis. 36%

If I saw a female police officer being attacked by a Pakistani in Britain I wouldn't intervene I'd just call 999 and wait for backup I know that the law will be on the side of the Pakistani

The most depressing statement from the female officer nobody seems to talk about: She said other people in the car park were simply filming on their phones and "shouting stuff". "Nobody came to assist. I felt everyone in that room was against us." Low trust society.
