Hearing various wrong conclusions at #AHA22 post #PROMINENT: "We can ignore TG" "TG doesn't matter" REMINDER: When ⬆️TG (esp w/ DM or 🔽HDL) focus should be on even more aggressive LDL-C 🔽 (also as more atherogenic LDL particles), DM Rx, weight loss / lifestyle changes

Congrats to @Gurleen_Kaur96 who led our latest #MGBLpaRegistry paper showing that ⬆️Lp(a) is a/w higher rates of CVD & MI in both women and men. Our findings suggest that ⬆️Lp(a) may pose a higher relative risk in post menopausal women (vs. younger women)
