My mom is 75 and fighting cancer. Chemo has made her weak and she’s having trouble keeping an appetite and staying warm. This virus would wipe her out pretty quickly. I wouldn’t give a shit if they cancel all sports forever if it helps her be around for another decade.

- Wife just declared she’s rooting for “the orange team” because “their cheerleaders are wearing sequins skirts”. Another quote “you can’t just wear regular polyester, it’s the fucking National Championship”.
- Don’t be sad it’s over. Be happy that it happened. 17 years in the radio business came to an end this morning. Couldn’t imagine having worked with better bunch of nut jobs than the folks I call friends from KXNO. I love Travis, Chris, Andrew, Heather, Sean... these are my family.
- My wife and I had top row tickets at Hilton to see Billy Joel. A man walked up to us and offered us first row seats if we promised to stand and sing and have a great time. He told us this story. It was amazing everyone in the first two rows was in the same position. Really cool.
- Truly one of the more impressive things I’ve seen today. ISU is an engineering school.
00:00 - I’m not good at much, but I’m good at putting my emotions into words. I’m having a hard time with that right now. To be appreciated and supported by all of you... it’s overwhelming. Now I get to continue my new venture in real estate, and do my radio show!! Thank You, all!
- Hey gang, I really need to believe in the power of positive group think today. I’ve told you my mom is battling cancer. She’s taken a bad turn and could use every prayer and positive vibe you can send her way. Her name is Jean and she’s the best mom and grandma ever.
- Hey, all. I can’t thank you enough for the kind works and positive thoughts and prayers over the past few months. Moms fight ended tonight around 9:15. She passed very peacefully and with my Dad by her side.
- Well, not the way I wanted to start a week, but I’ve been here before. I was just fired from KXNO. It’s been a dream come true to do live radio in my hometown for the past 20 years. Thank you for allowing me into your lives. I aint dying. More to come. New tide = new opportunity!
- Every new day brings a new tide, and every new tide brings a new opportunity. Today is my new tide. Excited to jump all-in on selling real estate with my friend Mark Charter @IowaRealEstate AND, STAY TUNED... you haven’t heard the last from me... or my radio friends. I promise!
- My wife is not on twitter, but it should be noticed the impact the past 48 hours have had on our families. My wife was unbelievably supportive. She’s the baddest little chick on the planet and I love her with all of my heart. And she lets me make fun of her! I’m a very lucky guy.
- Payton Sandfort cares. A lot. And when people bitch about the collapse of the integrity of College Sports, it’s kids like him that they think of. Call it a dying breed if you want. Four years at the U you dreamed of playing for. Good job, kid. Hope it lived up to the dream.
- My dude @ChrisMWilliams picked me up big time last week and most probably didn’t notice. My mom was diagnosed with cancer, and Chris helped me move through the shows and forget about it for a few hours each day. I was distant and distracted and he was there to carry the load.
- We got mom to her living room for home hospice! She knows she’s home. She knows her grandkids are with her. We have everything mom wouldve wanted. The last few days have been scared and reconnected me to a spirituality I’d been missing. Thank you all for reaching out.
