Stabbed a teenage captive to death. Shot & killed a school girl walking with friends and an elderly man. Indiscriminately shot up neighborhoods with rockets & machine-gun fire. Boasted about the number of people he had killed, including women. But sure, let’s give him the airtime

We are actually debating whether or not invading a hospital — one where newborn babies are on incubators, people are using as shelters and patients are undergoing surgeries without anesthesia — is legal, moral and ethical. This is truly the bottom.

Women in Gaza are dressed in full hijabs in their own homes so that if they’re killed, they’re covered. Families are sheltering in place together, so that if they go, they all go. No one is left with the trauma of searching for others. This pain, just hearing it, is indescribable

Anti-Muslim hate didn't begin on 9/11 but it created the structural & institutional framework for our communities to surveilled, spied on, profiled, tortured, entrapped. On the ground, we were spat on, mosques were burnt down, children were bullied and our women were harassed.

A black Muslim woman was brutally beaten & robbed in NYC. When she went to the NYPD/District Attorneys office, they dismissed her case saying they didn't have the evidence to pursue a hate crime investigation. So she went out herself & got it. My interview
