- Tough as Hill. On Sun Nov 20th, Rudder HS football & track coach Calvin Hill was severely injured in a wreck on Hwy 6 while driving a shuttle for Santa's Wonderland. In an effort to raise money for the Hill family, t-shirts are being sold with the tagline "Tough as Hill."
- Rudder Varsity takes the victory over Bryan High, 35-28. First win over Bryan High in Rudder school history. Great job Coaches and players!
