Over 15 years ago, #TCU made a huge deal in the media release for a basketball game vs Texas Tech in their regular media notes that we as announcers were not supposed to refer to them as Texas Christian University. It was supposed to be TCU, no mention of Christian. I madeWe walked out of a future freshman tour 15 minutes in because the presenter started in on DEI. We then excluded TCU from future consideration in our family. The "C" is purely performative because they make idols of race and sex. Shame on @TCU for their bigotry against actual

So are these other teams. But only TTU has it mentioned repeatedly during pregame segments, live broadcasts, etc. CURIOUS.
