Wild CS2 update tonight. I’ve spent the last few hours digging through market data and built this projection chart to show how I think things play out.
Knives and gloves drop fast (40–50%) as the new trade-up path floods supply, while Covert skins surge short-term as everyone

- Been crunching the numbers on tonight’s CS2 update and this really puts it in perspective: About 385 cases ($1,380) for a knife or glove drop About 417 cases ($1,490) for 5 Coverts if you recycle every skin you open into trade-ups Around 781 cases ($2,790) for 5 Coverts without
- ⚠️WARNING! ⚠️ AVOID CSFLOAT AT ALL COST! They can ban you and lock your funds for no reason! They have terrible customer support and will scam you. Also, they have a shill office address, and they do not have a legal department to contact and will not provide you with aSome CS2 traders are concerned after finding out CSFloat's TOS does not guarantee account balances & that it should not be treated as cash.
- Here are two additional models expanding on the baseline market projection I posted last night, showing how the next six months could play out for CS2 skins. Bullish: • Total market up about 15% • Covert skins spike early, then flatten • Knives and gloves dip slightly, thenWild CS2 update tonight. - Replying to @betoyaner @Ozzny_CS2 and 7 othersWell I would guess the knife/glove price will drop around 40-50% but the very low float and rare patterns will hold value more. If you saw a knife priced at 60-80% less than the cost last week I would say it’s a decent long term investment. That is if you can find out that cheap.
- Replying to @finderrio @SkinBid and 9 othersYeah but do anyone to have really trusted an unregulated market is wild. There are zero regulations. No insider trading laws or rules zero checks and balances. Valve could trade ban any account they want for zero reason without notice. Crazy when you think about it.
- Replying to @gabefollowerI think we will be good in the long run! I did a good amount of market research.Wild CS2 update tonight. - Replying to @Tydaaaaaa @SkinBid and 9 othersWell to be honest no one should have been thinking it was a healthy market. It’s 100% unregulated to start with and never should has been a safe for of investing. Tomorrow Valve could make all the skins not tradeable or just trade lock anyone account with no reason..
- Replying to @Bl1nkFPSNope, never reverted a trade on any site. But decent guess. You may have a future if you put some work into it #BluesClues
- Replying to @c4rverIt’s post and click bait like this that make the internet so bad. Glad to see your copy and paste skills are fair to mediocre.
- Replying to @meealzzI would assume the prices continue to rise with the demand for covert skins. I have a wild theory… I think valve will stop releasing cases to prevent people from just buying cases and essentially gambling. I’ll create a post dedicated to why I think this soon.
- Replying to @ThourCS2I have a feeling that today we will see something special for CS2! #counterstrike2
