    The winner of the Central Region has played in the last FOUR D2 national championship 🏀 games. And if Northwest Mo wins tomorrow, the Central region winner would have won the national title 3 out of 4 years. If that’s not the best region in the country then I don’t know what is

    There are many successful D2 head coaches that would be big time at the D1 level. All they need is an opportunity. I find it very odd that more D1 ADs don’t look to the D2 ranks. Great coaches can coach at any level. Period.

    Four seasons ago, Chris Beard was the head coach at D-2 ANGELO STATE. Now, he’s taking Texas Tech to its first-ever Final Four. Texas Freakin’ Tech. National Coach of the Year. Period.

    Congrats @NWBearcatMBB on winning the national championship. @TheMIAA has won 3 out of the last 6 national titles. Best D2 league in the country. Great players & high level coaches. Proud to be a part of it.

    Also noticed something during Tigers celebration with his caddy. He yelled out “WE did it” instead of “I did it”. Thought that was pretty cool. Takes people working together to succeed in anything. Even in an individual sport.

    For the first time in school history @MSSUMensBball has earned a bid to the @NCAADII Tournament for the third straight year. Heck of an accomplishment for our guys considering the strength of our region and how hard it is to make a D2 regional in general. So proud of them

    2 diff types of🎄celebrations for the McMahon household today. 1 is Eva being home from the hospital happy & healthy 2 is Mav building forts in the back trenches of our yard patiently waiting to wrestle every present he has. Both are a true blessing. God is good. Merry Christmas!
