MY CURRENT VIEW: Dozens upon dozens of people are slowly gathering outside of the D.C. court House in support of an organizer said to be pepper sprayed and detained by @wmata transit police last night when she advocated for youth accused for jumping fare.
This morning, a group of @dcpublicschools substitute teachers will lead a protest in front of the John A. Wilson Building in demand of a substantial pay raise. Right now, DCPS substitutes make $15 per hour. They have not had a raise since 2008.

RIGHT NOW: Family, friends and community members are gathered on the 2500 block of Marion Barry Ave SE in remembrance of Justin Robinson, a violence interrupter shot and killed by @DCPoliceDept less than a week ago. @WashInformer story coming soon...

Many more years and shoutout to @drolarkb for maintaining, and even building upon, an important family legacy.
