Men are not allowed in my house, not even my neighbors. I'd rather they dislike me for creating this boundary than be sexually harassed in a house I pay rent in. I can't control how men act in public but I have complete control in my house.

I really do. I totally prefer being in charge of my life, making my decisions and managing the consequences.

Today someone told me i have igbo accent, she meant it as an insult but how am i supposed to be insulted when i spent 25years of my life solely in the east? Lol i wish people will stop projecting their insecurities on others.

This protest is powered by all the years we've spent on this app making bants and getting to know each other...we built concrete relationships and it's based on that we are working so well together. Our Twitter career is not a waste after all guys🧡🤗

I really applaud those people that refuse to stay in situations that just aren't working for them anymore instead of dwelling in toxicity and resentment. It takes alot of courage to remove yourself from relationships you've previously invested alot in.

Finally got a job offer yesterday after almost 2years of being jobless in Lagos. The year isn't over yet, your miracle is on the way💃

Yes, we need to audit our friendships regularly and take some time apart when it's needed to reevaluate. Healthy boundaries is selfcare. It's so easy to take people for granted when we become overly used to them, things usually go downhill from there.

In order to be a feminist you have to be okay with not being liked by men. That's the first step. You can build whatever you want from there because your foundation is unshakable.

Nigerian feminists are the ones invested in dismantling patriarchy not Nigerian women. Because there are Nigerian women protecting the men in their lives knowing they are raping and sexually harassing women.

My house is my safest place because I control who can come in or not.
