- I’m babysitting my sister’s kids tonight and I love how she just asked me “Val, can you ask my kids if there are things they’d like me to change, things they’re not happy with when it comes to me? Things they’ve tried to tell me that I don’t understand?” Such a good mom.

- Gaslighting is not when someone doesn't agree with your perspective or doesn't care about hurting you, it's when someone is manipulating you into questioning your sanity and memory, in order to get control over you and a situation. It is abuse.
