There's a delicate balance a coach has to make when your own kid is on the team and is a star player too. Aquinas' Dave Donarski summed it up wonderfully after today's title game loss to Laconia with his daughter Macy.

Johnny and Jordan Davis' father Mark tells me via text that Kobe's decision to leave Wisconsin has no effect on the twins' status. They're still all-in on the Badgers.

Packers Pres. Mark Murphy today on Bleacher Report article: "...it's all in the past, a lot of half-truths and a lot of stuff just made up. The conversation that allegedly took place between Aaron and I was completely false."

3rd straight year the Packers have lost at home in January with the season on the line. Time to put the Lambeau Field mystic to bed.

I am truly heartbroken to learn about the passing of legendary UW-L Football Coach Roger Harring this morning. He was more than just wins and losses and national championships. He was a true leader of young men. My deepest sympathy's to his wife Mary and the Harring family.

This is an absolute mauling. Unfortunately national narrative will be about Harbaugh and how bad Michigan is instead how Paul Chryst is one of the best coaches in nation.

AWFUL NEWS: I'm told longtime La Crescent-Hokah baseball coach Rick Boyer passed away unexpectedly last night. I'm absolutely heartbroken. One of the all-time great guys I've come across. Condolences to the Boyer family and the La Crescent-Hokah community.

Harring Stadium in La Crosse. One of the best venues in D3. Bluffs, fall colors and a great matchup. ⁦@UWLEagleFB⁩ hosting UW-Oshkosh 15 minutes away

Central, West Salem and Bangor boys all headed to State. I guess they play some pretty damn good basketball in La Crosse County (pop. about 120,000).
