    This photo was taken by a friend of mine from the top of Sliabh Ban on Tuesday evening. In the far distance you can clearly see Croagh Patrick which is 80 miles away. Incredible.

    I know it's not a big deal to anyone who is used to regular exercise but I have just completed my 100th day in a row out walking (45-60 mins). It's a big achievement for me - but I don't think I'll get to 200!! @lockdown

    Got a tour of the new @ConnachtGAA indoor dome today from @cathalcregg It takes a lot to render me speechless. It is stunning. What a facility.

    Dublin won 8 All Irelands in 11 years playing possession football yet when Roscommon do it for 5 minutes and 40 seconds everyone is up in arms. Dry up people. @RoscommonGAA @RoscommonPeople

    I'm deeply shocked and saddened at news of the sudden death this morning of Conor Connely. I had a pint with him only three weeks ago at Tom Lyon's party. He was a great footballer and a lovely. Deepest sympathy to his wife and family. @RoscommonPeople

    September 23rd 2006. The greatest day following or reporting on Roscommon GAA in my lifetime as 20,000 Rossies decamped to Ennis for the All-Ireland MFC final replay. A lot didn't even get to the match. A day that I shall never forget. #rosgaa @RoscommonGAA #heroes

    Dennis Buckley makes his 200th appearance for @connachtrugby this weekend against Benetton. It's as fantastic milestone and hopefully he will be there for many years to come. @RoscommonPeople
