- Yesterday we said goodbye to True Blonde at 26 years of age . The epitome of Segenhoe blood by Naturalism out of Easy Date and the longest resident at Segenhoe. Such a beautiful soul who never wanted for anything in her later years . RIP
- We lost poor Eagle Way today ( pictured as a yearling ) . Born and bred at Segenhoe , he went on to win not only the Queensland Derby but also over 22 million HKD . He had a wonderful retirement home and lived out his life in supreme comfort .He was a grand horse . RIP
- We lost the champion mare Legally Bay today. A beautifully unique character and treasured by her adoring owners, Chris and Jane Barham and everyone at Segenhoe. She will rest rightfully overlooking the farm lying beside other champions as she justly deserves. Peter O'Brien
