- No matter what horse you had in this race a 33% voter turnout means Ontario lost tonight. Every teacher, student, essential & front line worker lost tonight. Democracy lost tonight. Acountability & leadership lost tonight. Caring lost tonight.
- If bringing peanut butter to a classroom/playground isn't safe ( & nobody screams foul for sacrificing personal freedoms), how is it fathomable that bringing Covid-19 is ok by declining vaccines? Vaccines for health care, education workers is a must. Period.
- This isn’t right. Respect and compassion is a 2 way street.

- #Omicron hasn't just mutated. It's changed Covid symptom presentation too. Out: Loss of smell, taste. In: Sore throat*, runny nose, congestion, cough, body aches. If you have any of these, it's probably not a cold or flu. You probably have Omicron.
- Not that it bears repeating... But if you plan to disrupt, harass & intimidate patients, caregivers & health care workers at a hospital in the name of your "freedom", you have forfeited it. The hospital is a sacred place. Leave it in peace.

- BREAKING: @ONgov to announce (imminently) schools will go online for the next 2 weeks. As bitter a pill for some who will struggle mightily during this time, this will afford some needed time to upgrade safety measures, defuse the surge of Omicron.
- There ARE problems with vaccine supply. But when there's plenty at a pharmacy in an upscale neighborhood & zero at a hot zone community centre in the same city at the same time...that's not supply. That's misallocation. That's unforgiveable. #EquityMatters

- So...Ontario Science Table is now reporting an estimated 100-120K daily cases of #Covid19. If you are debating whether to put on a mask, get vaccinated or limit your indoor contacts, please don't wait. Just do it. All of it.
- My kids will go back to school w/ masks to protect themselves, their grandma & anyone else at risk. Peer pressure to do good can be powerful too. I hope they learn that caring for others is not always the easiest choice but always the right one. #Community
