    As we celebrate #EmancipationDay and the indomitable spirit of our people, which our amazing athletes embody so well, the Embassy was happy to treat #TeamJamaica🇯🇲 to some good J’can food 🥘. The menu: jerk chicken, oxtail, escoveitched fish, rice & peas and tonnes of enjoyment!

    Congrats to Jamaican Radcliffe Lennox & his wife Shiho on the opening of Leny Café and Chocolatier in Shizuoka Pref. The first establishment serving 100% #JBMCoffee and J’can cocoa beans in Japan, Leny will expand our trading relations & help promote 🇯🇲, its products & people.

    The Jamaican Diaspora in Japan 🇯🇵 always shows up to celebrate each other’s successes. Happy to have met the J’cans in Shizuoka (& another from Tokyo) who attended the opening of Leny Café. They all continue to excel and fly the 🇯🇲 flag high wherever they are. @lijitimate

    As the curtains close on the @Olympics, we celebrate @FastElaine who gave us 🏅🏅🏅 golden moments on the track at the #Tokyo2020 Games. I was happy to present a gift from the Embassy to Elaine who, along with all our talented athletes, flew the 🇯🇲 flag high in Tokyo.Truly proud!

    Japan was among the first countries to recognize Jamaica as an independent nation on 6 August 1962. As we mark our Diamond Jubilee this Saturday, I thank the Gov’t & people of Japan for the support & contribution to Jamaica’s development over the past 6 decades. #JJPartnership
