My 8 year old nephew was called Paki in school by another student. Yes, my nephew is Muslim. Yes, raw sewage into the veins of this country, indeed.

This rude, unnecessary comment is making me so mad. My daughter has occluded teeth and we've been to a dentist but at some point she decided to stop wearing her Invisalign braces. She said she was comfortable with the way she looks and I cannot argue with that. No one should.

All you morons in Bangalore questioning Muslim businesses, just remember that half the grocery stores, supermarkets, bakeries here are run by Muslims putting themselves at risk to stay open for you. Boycott them if you like, it just means there's more stuff for rational people.

The people who say 'why didn't she quit??' never ask men why they don't "just quit" bad jobs, abusive bosses, toxic work environments. It's like women are working just for fun and timepass no, kabhi bhi quit kar do. But men are bread winners. Their ambitions are valid.

#HijabBan Have decided to send child to school every single day in monkey cap from now, as befits her heritage. Let's see who takes me to court.

Please understand this: if you are a 40+ editor and you think you are having a "consensual" relationship with a junior employee in her 20s who is reporting to you and has no power within the org, you're deluded. In some cases "consent" is irrelevant. #MJAkbar #MeTooIndia

Especially not some stranger on the internet, especially not QTing a happy photo. This is vile. Actually, no one, anywhere. It's her body and her choice.

Ok so other people can spend crores on their weddings but Dalits have to donate the money because they shouldn't want to enjoy nice things? Terrible savarna take, this. Also this is a huge moment for Dalit representation on screen so let us all just shut up.

Don't know which Dalit wedding (since they made it a point to say that's what it was) or Buddhist wedding looks like this - but sure. Might have made more sense to show them donate the crores they spent on this gala, to support Dalit-owned businesses or anything more practical.

It's always the old men who have never poured themselves a glass of water even who wax nostalgic about the glories of the joint family

Boycott an actor's film because he dared criticise the government several years ago. One of those things that happen only in India. Even under the worst excesses of the Trump admin in US, freedom of speech wasn't thrown into the garbage like this.

Laal Singh Chaddha badly hit by boycott. Opens to 10cr, Aamir’s lowest in years. 1/5th of his last film’s opening, Thugs of Hindustan got an opening of 52cr in 2018. Thugs was a worse film so even taking people’s post covid reluctance to return to theatres it’s the boycott effect

Getting triggered, angry, tearful. Remembering a senior sports writer in The Telegraph who used to paw women. Widely known, no action taken. And what hurts the most was a female colleague telling me 'Knowing you, you probably enjoyed it'. Women, don't do this to each other.

Just to clarify because there seems to be some confusion, the person in the photo is not my daughter. But she could be (she's a kid, really, leave her alone)
