    I'm surprised by how many people are calling for leaving the gold position vacant. Why? Are we saying that if Russia didn't deserve the win, noone did? Or that everyone basically lost to doping? In what world would it be fair to the clean athletes involved? I truly don't get it.

    How did they actually manage to make the worst possible call on this? Why were the women's points not redistributed? Also, this severely effs up everyone's wish to have the ceremony at Paris, because what, they'll hold a ceremony for banned athletes? You had one job, ISU...

    The ISU have announced that Kamila Valieva's 2022 Winter Olympics team event points are dismissed and the re-ranking is as follows: 🥇USA - 65 points 🥈Japan - 63 points 🥉ROC - 54 points

    There were 3 possible scenarios, only one of them (the least logical one) let the Russians stay on the podium. Guess which one the ISU picked. We see you, ISU. We see how deeply in Russia's pocket you still are. Shame on you. Team Canada - you're our true bronze medalists.

    It's actually sad and wrong how some people choose to label Nathan as 'homophobic' due to some unfortunate wording he used & willingly ignore the real issue he was trying to raise, which is young boys in the sport getting bullied for being figure skaters.

    It just hit me - how is it that Shoma and Nathan fans can be friends and collectively swoon over their love duet and appreciate each skater even when preferring the other but fanyus are out there having a full on open war with everyone who dares to have a different favorite?

    I can't believe Nathan is turning 23. It feels like just yesterday he was a fresh faced 17 yo making his senior debut, challenging - and upsetting - world & Olympic champions. So to celebrate how old we're all getting, let's raise a glass for baby's first major international win

    It's so sad. Imagine how exciting and bittersweet this could've been if the show had stayed true to itself this season and decided to honor its legacy instead of destroying it. Gonna shed a tear tonight for all that wasted potential.

    No need to apologize, Mark. Please don’t let them bully you into saying what they want. They throw a fit everytime they’re reminded that their fav is not a god and some skaters actually surpassed some of his accomplishments. Which is true and totally ok to say.

    Sorry I wasn’t diminishing Yuzuru but instead celebrating what Shoma did. I frequently mentioned what a legend Yuzuru is & the things he’s done for the world of skating. Mentioning defence of a world title was more to promote Shoma’s achievement in relation to a skating legend.

    I honestly think this is bigger than Eteri, that's how it is in Russian sport in general. You're either the best or you're nobody. I just had a Russian guy tell me that "it's better to die for 1st place than be happy in 20th".
