    Today is my 30th anniversary @washingtonpost It’s not lost on me that the basic financial advice I write about was taught to me by my grandmother Big Mama, whose grandfather was enslaved in NC. Now their financial wisdom is passed on to my readers. I hope I have done them proud.

    As someone who has needed therapy to get over childhood traumas, Naomi Osaka is my hero. She has bravely stood up to an establishment that sought to punish her for taking care of her mental health.

    Mark my words. In 20 years, Naomi Osaka will be known as the person who finally got the masses to understand that there is no difference between mental health and physical health. What she is doing here by withdrawing from Wimbledon is more than she can ever win on the court.
