- We are aware that Referee, Ken Templeman suffered a medical incident during his match between Staplegrove Spartans and Creech Cougars yesterday. Following swift action, first-aid and treatment at hospital, Ken is doing well. We pass on our best wishes to Ken & family.
- We are ecstatic to announce the news that @SomersetFA Referee, Stacey Pearson, has been appointed as an Assistant Referee for the @SSEWomensFACup Final 🏆 Stacey will be on @bbcrb tonight with @geoff20man 📻 Congratulations Stacey, you're a great role model for female referees!
- We are aware of a video circulating on social media about an incident during an FA Trophy tie this weekend. We have been in contact with the referee throughout the day and will continue to provide support to the 3 match officials involved.

- Every club has an individual that goes above and beyond, and it was Martin McConachie from Hengrove Athletic who did just that. Martin Peters, SFA, had the pleasure to award Martin the 'Secretary of the Year Award' (Adults) earlier this month. Well done to Martin
- Earlier this week Somerset FA were able to visit Middlezoy Rovers to award Craig Berry with his Volunteer of the Year FA County Award. He was also presented with an FA County Award for Middlezoy Rovers, as they won the Grassroots Project of the Year Award.
- Somerset Referee, Mandy Kerfoot, has receive an appointment to the FA Girls' Youth Cup Semi Final between Chelsea and Everton 👏 Congratulations from all of us at Somerset FA ⚽️ 🎉
- We're delighted to hear that ‘Organised Outdoor Sport’ can resume from March 29. We await the guidelines from The FA to see exactly what effect this may have on our leagues, clubs, players, parents and spectators. As soon as we know, we'll share it via all channels.
