    The @SouthWalesFA has been made aware of an alleged assault on a match referee today. In accordance with FAW regulations, the alleged perpetrator has been suspended from all aspects of Football pending a full hearing. We cannot make any further comment at this time.

    Pleased to learn that John Phillips, has been awarded a BEM in the Honours List for his services to grassroots football. John is a Life Vice-President and is a former Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer & President of the @SouthWalesFA and was a member of the @FAWales Council 2006-16.

    Today would have been Gary Speed’s 55th birthday. Whenever he is mentioned on here, this video with Dan Walker comes into my mind. A deeply impactful few minutes if you’ve never seen it before. ❤️

    Confirmation from @FAWales that players registered on Comet who have paid registration fees for this season will not be required to pay a fee for season 2021/22 if they continue with the same club. Referee fees for level 2 and below also charged at £0 for next season (1/2)

    Sad to learn of the passing of @_RDFL Chair Carol Hosking. As well as being a former member of the @SouthWalesFA Council, she became its first female chair in 2005 and is a holder of the FAW Long Service Award for her services to Welsh football. RIP 🙏
