I don't have to have an opinion on this. Opinion is the mind-killer. Opinion is the brain-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my opinion. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the

Interesting thing about the Felidae is that many species are very tameable. The reason we haven't domesticated the cheetah or caracal or serval isn't that they're unfriendly, it's that they can turn you into hamburger without meaning to.

Fun fact, this is so your printer can watermark everything you do for the benefit of federal police/spy agencies. Remember when communist dictatorships tried to stamp out unregulated typewriters and copy machines? Pikers.

This is not a joke, this actually happened to me. To spoil it, the most likely explanation is that they took out the lower half of it (surgeons had trouble finding it) but left the upper half. Less likely but possible is that I had two (very rare but it happens).

Fucking Wikipedia. At the time Augustine was alive, 'Africa' was a province of the Roman Empire and referred to a small section of the Mediterranean coastline, not the continent.

Cheetahs, caracals and servals are very tameable. Leopard cats were domesticated in neolithic China but were displaced by housecats later on. (Cheetahs aren't true big cats (Pantherinae), they're the biggest small cat (Felinae).)

Oh boy, do I have an answer for this. It's because a honeymoon is consumption, but a wedding is an investment. Specifically, you're paying for a magickal ritual to redefine your social position, which requires the presence of your community.

Why would you have a $30,000 wedding when you can just get married at the courthouse and have a $30,000 honeymoon instead?

I think the appeal of brutalism in the 70s was that when you're surrounded by this, concrete seems bright and futuristic in comparison. But this palette was designed to absorb cigarette smoke. Can't see the dingy yellow stains over all the brown!

Druckmann made AAA games for people who dislike games and don't play them, so he has a disproportionate share of attention from gaming journos who dislike games and don't play them.
