    Just saw a family say goodbye in their driveway. They hugged. Then stood around and chatted with their hands on their hips. Then hugged again. Then daughter walked over to her car and they chatted some more. Then she backed out and parents stood and waved. Aka the Iowa goodbye.

    I can’t stop thinking about this. He cried and hugged and kissed his players. So special to see a leader in such a masculine sport feel all the feels out in the open. I vote we normalize this kind of emotion.

    What do they do after they make a Sweet 16? Same thing they did after every game this year—stayed to take pics with and talk to every last mini fan. I adore these women. Badass and all class. #loyaldaughtersforevertrue
