Trudeau, asked by @reggcohn about relationships with leaders, spoke of good chats w/Singh, Paul, Blanchet. Then: "It's harder for me to find things to align on with Mr. O'Toole. Perhaps because Mr. O'Toole doesn't always know where he aligns on things. But that's another issue."

Every time I hear MPs cite the number of Canadians killed in Afghanistan, there's one they leave out: Michelle Lang, an incredible Canadian journalist killed trying to cover the story of the war. She died 12 years ago this month. Let's remember her too.

During all of the combat mission in Afghanistan, Canadian reporters were there. Afghan fixers helped us cut through the spin and get Afghan voices heard. Our fixers risked it all then, now their lives are at risk again. Let's not leave them behind. caj.ca/blog/Joint_Sta…
