Yesterday I got a 99.99$ super thanks on YouTube so I can give away some copies of Silksong, which is insane and I am beyond grateful for. Youtube took 52 dollars of that super thanks. All that remains is 48 dollars, which is 42 euro aka two copies of Silksong.

I FOUND THE REASON. It is Youtube AND APPLE'S fault. So Youtube takes a 30% cut. The 100 dollar donation turns into 70 dollars. Now apparently Apple also takes a 30% cut on these transactions, getting the $70 down to under 50. A daylight robbery with two culprits

So yeah, IF you ever donate to me for whatever reason, choose patreon I guess, they take like 8% or sth. I guess I should disable super thanks, never knew until now what an insanely large cut youtube takes here. Makes me feel bad for the donator.

Like, to elaborate on this, I love this so much because after 6 years of waiting, I dont want some prick who rushes this game to get the review out to go "uh i had to concentrate sometimes and that is uh bad, anyway, here is the final boss in the thumbnail"

Okay actually he would use AI, show it to Hornet, she would scold him and tell him why AI is ass, he would then cry for 5 days, buy a pencil and come back with a squiggly drawing of him and Hornet with a big "SORRY :c" on it.
