    Will we get this level of detail today? We’ll be honest, given the Scottish Government’s track record on budget transparency, our expectations are low. We’ll be doing what we can to get under the figures and we’ll have our initial analysis up on our website later this afternoon.

    DFM said she was increasing the Starter and Basic rate bands by inflation. You might have thought that this would mean the threshold increasing by inflation. But no, they've increased the size of the band by inflation not the threshold. Feels a little opaque. #scottishbudget
