notice how this “purging” of misogyny only occurred to serve their own interest in “becoming a woman”. not because women are people who deserve respect.

6. I had to PURGE so much misogyny from my body in order to admit I wanted to be a woman. I had to see them as entirely equal in order to believe I had a chance at becoming one. If they were always perfect angels/distant mothers, then I would be stuck in man land forever.
