- At some point, Time, The Sporting News, ESPN, etc just need to cover the Black women in the NBA instead of asking Paige, CC, Kelsey Plum, Sabrina to do the heavy lifting. They’ve all spoken on it. Repeatedly. Now the media needs to do their job.Paige Bueckers went viral in 2021 for her speech at the ESPYs when she shined a light on Black athletes. When asked in 2025 by @TIME, she says Black women remain undercovered.
