Look, @VitalikButerin meant to create $THE Protocol back in 2015. But an accidental spelling mistake late at night (which cannot be corrected on #blockchain) brought us the #ETH we all know today, so he just improvised and called it #Ethereum to roll with it. Now, $THE is back.
