    Moving to Dubai doesn’t magically switch off UK tax. I’ve had to step in for far too many people who moved on bad (or no) advice, with zero planning and ended up with six-figure UK tax bills in year one. Wrong advice. Wrong assumptions. Very expensive mistakes. Geography ≠

    I met my wife at 20 and married her at 24. 8 years later my interests are also unrecognisable. So my wife winds me up about them and we laugh together about it. No idea why people are making 'till death do us part' vows when really they mean 'so long as it's convenient'

    There's NO way in 2024/5 they built a brand new tunnel, and thought 2 lanes was sufficient? and made 1 of them a bus lane? The UK actually has incompetent people making decisions.

    I live in Dartford (tier 3) and my kids go to school in London (t2). I'm not allowed to leave Kent due to t3 restrictions but my kids are to remain in their t2 school spreading their t3 virus. Furthermore, should they teleport there?

    This week we're thinking about family finances, so we wanted to work out how much money you could save for your child if you saved monthly from birth until they were 18. £10 = £4,386 £25 = £10,966 £50 = £21,931 £100 = £43,862 £250 = £109,655 Little and often really adds up.

    INTERESTING FACT: If you save £250 a month from age 27-67 and invest the savings once a year at 7%, you will retire with £644k. For £400 a month you will retire with £1.03m If started at age 18 you’d retire with £1.27m (£250) or £1.95m (£400) #compoundinterest
