Ordinarily, we wouldn't send MREs; they're just too expensive. They're also not a daily ration but a single, fairly high calorie meal. Instead of MREs we'd send HDRs, Humanitarian Daily Rations, which are rations for an entire day. HDRs are made to be unobjectionable, on
