    Global restoration is not about planting as many trees as possible. It is about distributing the flow of wealth towards millions of local communities, indigenous populations and farmers that promote biodiversity across the globe. nature.com/articles/s4158…

    I just saw such a cool video of the breathing Earth from @ymalhi and @cop26. The size of pixels are scaled by the productivity of every region, and the video shows the pulsating throughout the year.

    Just to clarify, I truly love natural history. That’s why I got into ecology. I would never intend to criticize the incredible ecologists who do amazing work around the world. I am so sorry for any miss communication. This local scale ecology is 90% of my research.
