    On June 28, 1981, at 4:35 a.m., Terry took his final breath, surrounded by the love of his family and his nation. Canadians could not believe that this strong, courageous, man would never run again. Thank you, Terry, for lighting a fire of hope that burns brighter every day.

    September 1, 1980. After 143 days and 5,373 kms Terry was forced to stop running outside of Thunder Bay, the cancer had spread to his lungs. “I’m gonna do my very best. I’ll fight. I promise I won’t give up.” Terry Never gave up and neither will we. terryfox.org/donate
