    Texas Game Wardens assigned to Cameron county rescued 141 sea turtles from the frigid waters of the Brownsville Ship Channel and surrounding bays. The sea turtles were transported via the PV Murchison, operated by Sgt. Game Warden Duke and B/M Bowers-Vest.

    Texas Game Warden Command Post Kerrville–we are coordinating the search & rescue efforts of over 60 game wardens from across the state, boats, two helicopters & unmanned aerial systems operators. Rescues continue & we'll be here to serve our community for as long as we're needed.

    Our thoughts and prayers are with the Florida Fish & Wildlife Commission on the loss of Officer Julian Keen. Julian was shot and killed last night while off-duty trying to stop a hit and run driver. He selflessly died in the service of others. #NeverForget

    Texas Game Wardens and their K-9 partners continue to assist in search efforts in Kerr County on foot and on the water. Since July 4, wardens have made 444 rescues and more than 30 recoveries in some of the most impacted areas.

    A Texas Game Warden was flagged down this afternoon in Hidalgo County by the mother of an infant who was unresponsive. The Game Warden used his medical training to save the child’s life. EMS arrived shortly and provided additional medical care.

    #TexasGameWardens in Brazoria County were patrolling near Surfside when they boarded an offshore vessel and found 27 snapper over the limit—during the closed federal season. The over limit fish were seized & donated to the community & citations were issued to the anglers.
