The reason why Max pointed to the ground and stood there and traded with Gaetjhe was to give Gaethje one final chance to win the fight because Gaethje gave Max the chance to fight for BMF. It was agreement made between two BMFs to trade and for one to go out on their shield

They both won. Askren went 1-2 but his loss to Masvidal helped Masvidal turn into a PPV star which in turn made the UFC a lot of money, so the UFC won financially. DJ on the other hand helped legitimise ONE as a promotion because their champ KO’d him but he got loss back

Tom wanted to fight Gane for the longest time but Gane didn’t want to fight him because he would always say he wanted to fight someone ahead of him. But when Tom became the man at HW, that’s the only time he wanted to fight him. Tom just gave Gane a taste of his own medicine

Ilia is a respectful guy, he’s just ultra confident. When he talks about his opponents he never goes at them about their race, religion or family, he just says that he’s better than them and that he’s going to knock them out. And more often than not, he he knock them out

Alex is a true martial artist. He seems like he doesn’t hold any grudges with his former foes. He could be belittling Izzy’s win over him because he has 3 over him but he doesn’t seem to mention it at all. If Izzy keeps winning then it makes Alex’s wins age better
