To all HS senior ball players who are moving on. You had BETTER be ready and in great shape physically and mentally. College ball is a 6 to 7 day a week commitment from start to finish. Having just gone through my first juco college season, take my advice! It's no joke!

- Replying to @O3jfrye @PHill_bone and 13 othersFeet, Field, Funnel, Footwork, Fire, Follow. I have found it has allowed me to teach young players literally step by step, instead of all at once. They can more easily grasp the complete concept by first grasping each step. I learned from reading and listening to The Ripkens.
- Replying to @shegone03 @PerfectGameUSA and 10 othersThere's hope #shegone nation. I have been to college camps recently where the coaches specifically said to not do this or it won't count. The majority of the catchers couldn't do it properly and had to redo it. I'm proud to say my son was never one of them.
- I have always told players, force me (coaches) to put you out there. Force me to struggle putting together a line up. A culture is built when there is a team full of players who work and push each other. Expect Nothing, Earn Everything!Be so undeniably good that you’re no longer in the margin of error for coach/team politics. The only way to force your way onto the field is to be undeniably better.
- Replying to @Seth_3773Agree 100%! Also, as the parent or player, if you ask, be prepared for the honest and accurate answer.
- Replying to @Lunchboxhero45Perfectly said! There are those of us who have and continue to fight this narrative, but it is a juggernaut. I was laughed at and called weak as early as 8u LL because I didn't go after wins. That was almost 10 years ago! I dispise what youth sports have become. It hurts.
- If you are a parent of a 17/16U, could pay $1,250 for the same tournaments, more experienced and better coaching, promotion,4 jerseys, 2 hats and practice/cage time at tourneys without a "name" OR $3400 for tourneys only with a "name", what would you do? @baseballifer11 🧵
- Replying to @nextlevelbbThe more you attend (SPEND), the higher your ranking goes. Have seen kids with higher "measureables" across the board have lower overall ratings. More showcases ($ in pockets) = higher ratings! Good for orgs., bad for parents and players.
- Ahhh...need a smile and a giggle? Take a watch. The game gives so much, all the time. I love it!Baseball will always find a way to humble you
- Proud of my son. What a journey it's been indeed. @cmullaney129 .. you haven't finished your journey, I can't wait to see where it goes from here. Onward and upward. Expect nothing, earn everything. Love you Bubba!I’m extremely blessed and excited to announce my commitment to Stevenson University. I want to thank my coaches and family for the support along my journey. Go Mustangs! 🤍💚
- Replying to @nextlevelbbA wall and a ball can go a long way. I made a mound in the corner of my parents' garden with a 2x4 "rubber" and drilled a square piece of plywood to the neighbors fence. Wore that wood out, and myself for a time jumping over the fence and running after poor throws!
- Next baseball journey. I am honored and incredibly excited for the opportunity to begin coaching at the collegiate level. Hard work, learning, passion, and love have gotten me here. Now the work begins again. Always working, always learning. TY! @MikeConway79 #legend
