- Another truly weird thing is that these anti-LTNers -never- talk about the hundreds of existing LTNs on streets and estates, just new ones. Why? Because where LTNs have been put in, after some adjustments, they make a huge positive difference, and people love them.
- Highbury LTNs starting today. Brace yourselves for a deluge of bile from people in Kent, Essex etc with VERY strong views on what the residents of Islington can/can’t do with their own streets.
- Replying to @TiceRichard and @Anthony23BryantReally Richard? - you’re confused. British fishermen sell the vast majority of what they catch into the EU. Brexit made it harder for them to do that and they have lost income. Starmer’s deal restores their market access. It’s unambiguously good for Britain’s fishing industry.
- Hi Scott! Scott is a taxi driver and lives in the London Borough of Newham. Scott travelled to our town hall today to tell Islington residents what we can and can’t do with our roads. Luckily nobody turned up to listen.

You can access all of those streets by car, as you know. I drove along Islington Park Street this morning myself. Some times your journey times may be incrwased by a couple of minutes.
