    Heartbroken to lose this amazing lad yesterday. Lucas Cranach died following a freak accident on the farm. Such a gentle, kind horse, he certainly changed my life & I am forever grateful. A huge thanks to Malcolm Boyd & @LenevaP for all the love & care they gave him in retirement

    Listen I'm all for the All Star Mile as a concept, but surely we are at peak saturation levels for "news" about the race? There are three G1s tomorrow! Talk about them! Nearly sick of hearing about the race and it's still three-weeks away - anyone else feeling me?

    I've seen more worthwhile spats between two dogs fighting over a tennis ball than the ridiculous VIC vs NSW racing back and forth. Spare me the "we're the best" wankery, I just want to enjoy the races, don't care who is putting them on #ijustlikethesport

    So very sad to hear of Deane Lester’s passing overnight. The voice of the punt for so many over so many years. An incredible mind for the sport and a great sense of humour, what a journey. Rest In Peace.

    If someone owns a racehorse they can do whatever the heck they like with it, if that means retiring it after a G1 on debut or five G1s at three so be it! Owners of valuable breeding prospects aren’t suddenly in debt to the sport, can we move on now? #commercialreality
