Here comes the sun! The region just behind the southeast limb is starting to show itself via loops high in the corona. What will it bring?šŸ§šŸ¤”ā“šŸŒŽšŸŒž For more on Sun activity see bit.ly/sunactivity

AR3190 is not going out quietly! An M4.7 flare and eruption at 9:37 UTC this morning. The eruption is not Earth-directed. šŸŒžšŸ‘šŸ¤©šŸ§We will see if there is more to comeā“šŸ¤” For more on Sun activity see bit.ly/sunactivity

Another look at this great prominence eruption! šŸŒžšŸ‘šŸ¤©šŸ§ If you look just north, to the left you can see an eruption/wave that launched another small CME. They should be here in a couple days with a possible glancing blowā“šŸ¤” For more on Sun activity see bit.ly/sunactivity

Watching Comet 96P/Machholz pass perihelion on its journey around the Sun. And a nice CME from a filament eruption to add to the show. šŸ§šŸ¤”ā“šŸŒŽšŸŒž For more on Sun activity see bit.ly/sunactivity

A fantastic filament eruption from the north pole earlier todayšŸŒžšŸ™€Captured with the SUVI 304 angstrom and the SDO 171 angstrom channels. Quite a show but nothing to worry about as it is not heading our way. Enjoy! Find out more about solar activity at bit.ly/sunactivity šŸ¤”

šŸŒžšŸ¤©šŸ˜±It's coming! Holy Moly! An X1.8 flare from AR3848, then a blast of sun stuff (a CME), and they created a shock driving particles (snow on images) to near the speed of light. The source was near the Earth-facing solar disk's center. So this stuff is headed our way—and it's

And that's a flare! Another one from the new region just over the NE limb (edge). An M2.4 with a double peak. It caused a radio blackout in the Pacific Ocean off the coast of South America. It looks like a promising region. šŸŒžšŸ¤©šŸ‘ā“šŸ¤” More on today's Sun: bit.ly/sunactivity

Holy Mackerel!! 🤩🤯This was a huge and fast event from the other side of the Sun. šŸŒžAn extremely fast and rare CME, 3000 km/s, 6.7 Mega mph. As fast if not faster than the fastest CME like the famous Carrington Event.Could be the big one for the cycle but we have to wait! šŸ§šŸ˜Ž

The new region on the northeast limb is almost in view, but it is not waiting to get busy. Lots of flare activity and jets. Pretty exciting, will it live up to expectations when it is numbered on the disk? For more on Sun activity see bit.ly/sunactivity šŸŒžšŸ™€šŸ‘šŸ¤©šŸ§

Spectacular prominence eruption! šŸŒžšŸ‘šŸ¤©šŸ§ WOW! That was cool, and it produced a beautiful, bright CME. It will probably not hit Earth, but maybe a glancing blow. The sun never ceases to surprise. What's nextā“šŸ¤” For more on Sun activity see bit.ly/sunactivity
