- The USCCB has no canonical authority over Joe Biden. He is subject to his local bishop, who in January will be Cardinal Gregory. @USCCB cannot pass judgment on him as a Catholic or deny him Communion. Whether he can go to Communion is up to each bishop in his diocese.
