- Last year, TSMA established its Trainee Teaching Award recognizing one outstanding resident/fellow pursuing cardiothoracic surgery for his/her commitment to medical student education and mentorship. We are so excited to congratulate our inaugural recipient, Dr. @lindaschulteMD!

- Dr. Tirone David is a living legend in cardiac surgery. Over the past four decades, he has pioneered numerous procedures, including the revolutionary David Procedure in 2007—an aortic valve-sparing operation for patients with aortic incompetence and ascending aorta aneurysms.
